The journey

The path to your puppy in eight steps

From the first enquiry to a responsible handover usually takes six to eighteen months with us. This is what that path looks like in practice.

  1. 01

    Enquiry

You write to us through the enquiry form. The more you tell us about your everyday life, the better we can judge which breed fits.

  2. 02

    Phone or video call

We talk for 30 to 45 minutes — about experience, working hours, holiday care and your expectations.

  3. 03

    First visit

You get to know us, the parent dogs and the rooms. A puppy is not yet the topic; this is about trust on both sides.

  4. 04

    Reservation

If it suits both sides, we reserve a puppy in writing. The deposit is refunded in full if we withdraw.

  5. 05

    Second visit from week 6

Now you meet your puppy. We discuss character development, feeding and preparation at home.

  6. 06

    Preparing at home

You set up sleeping places, safety and daily structure. Our checklist and cost planner help with this.

  7. 07

    Handover from week 10

You collect the puppy in person. We take two hours for documents, food, questions and a calm farewell.

  8. 08

    Support afterwards

We stay reachable — for questions in the first weeks, annual updates and, in an emergency, our return guarantee.

Handover & delivery

Exactly two ways home

Recommended

Personal collection at our home, Lindenhof

The standard case and our express wish: you come to us, meet the littermates and the dam, and take your puppy home yourself.

  • By appointment, Wed–Sun between 10:00 and 18:00 — we allow two to three hours
  • Original documents, EU pet passport and pedigree handed over in person
  • Detailed briefing on feeding, rest periods, house-training and veterinary appointments
  • You bring a travel crate and blanket; we provide two weeks of the familiar food and a scent cloth

Exception

Professional animal transport by a certified pet transporter

If travelling to us is impossible, we hand over exclusively to an approved pet transporter certified under EU Regulation 1/2005 and § 11 of the German Animal Welfare Act.

  • Temperature-controlled individual compartment, an attendant on board, fixed breaks with water and exercise
  • Only after a prior personal or video meeting — never anonymously
  • We name the transporter, verify licence and insurance, and supervise the loading
  • Transport costs are passed on transparently at cost price

No shipping, no freight, no handover en route

A puppy of ours never travels as a parcel, as air or rail freight, in a luggage hold or via private ride-sharing. Handovers at motorway services, car parks or airport counters are excluded without exception. There are exactly two routes: you collect your puppy in person, or a certified pet transporter brings it.

Adoption & payment

Reservation, contracts and payment

We work without a shopping cart, without instant purchase and without card payment. Every placement runs through written contracts and a SEPA bank transfer.

  1. 1 · Enquiry and meeting

You send a non-binding enquiry. After the conversation and the personal meeting we decide together whether a puppy suits you.

  2. 2 · Reservation agreement

Once approved, you receive a written reservation agreement naming the puppy, date of birth, handover date, total price and deposit.

  3. 3 · Deposit by SEPA transfer

The deposit is 20 % of the agreed price and is paid exclusively by SEPA bank transfer to the account named in the agreement. The puppy counts as reserved only once the payment arrives.

  4. 4 · Purchase and protection contract

Before handover both sides sign the purchase and protection contract: health status, vaccinations, husbandry obligations, return guarantee and a no-breeding clause are set out in it.

  5. 5 · Final balance

The remaining balance is transferred at the latest three working days before handover or — by arrangement — settled in cash against a receipt at the personal collection.

  • Payment route: SEPA bank transfer only, to the German account named in the contract
  • No credit card, no PayPal friends-and-family, no crypto, voucher or cash-transfer services
  • The deposit is refunded in full if the puppy cannot be handed over for health reasons
  • All prices include vaccinations, microchip, EU pet passport, deworming treatments and pedigree
